John P. Croce

John P. Croce is the founder of Fairfield Consultants, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in financial and operational problem-solving for medical practices and other professional service businesses.  

Mr. Croce has held a number of key executive positions in the insurance industry.  He has also served as the practice manager for an orthopedic group practice, a pediatric group practice and an OB/GYN group practice.  His most recent experience as a management consultant includes assessment work with a wide spectrum of specialty groups, multi-specialty groups, sole practitioners, Article 28 diagnostic and treatment centers, family medicine hospital owned practices, and non-profit organizations.  Additionally, he was hired to provide interim management and to implement his assessment recommendations for many of these clients.  In these roles, he has developed and implemented financial and operational turnaround strategies and process improvement initiatives, while replacing/upgrading medical practice management computer systems, managing office facilities and developing new services.

Mr. Croce is a member of the Medical Group Management Association.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in management and finance.
